About DFW Relationships
DFW Relationships was founded by the team behind Relational Therapy Collective (RTC), a systemic therapy practice in Dallas, TX. We started this site because most of what shapes a relationship doesn't happen in a therapy room — it happens on dates, at the kitchen table, in carpool lines, and in conversations with a friend going through something hard.
This site covers dating, marriage, parenting, and the transitions in between, with a specific focus on what that looks like in Dallas–Fort Worth: the commutes, the sprawl, the dual-career schedules, the blended families, the community resources that are easy to miss.
We publish original essays from our own editorial team, alongside guest contributions from local attorneys, physicians, and other specialists who work alongside couples and families across North Texas every day. When a topic calls for a clinical or therapeutic lens, we may reference the perspective of RTC's clinicians, since it's expertise we have direct access to — but most of what we publish here has nothing to do with RTC at all.
What this site is not: a therapy practice, a source of clinical or medical advice, or a place to get an individualized treatment recommendation. If you're looking for professional support, a licensed therapist or physician in your area is the right place to start.
